Built with leftovers from the local forest industry.
Strengths: This project did not evolve from a visual or cultural relation to the context, but from the inner logic of a construction method. This construction method is based on sustainable and economical factors which are defined by it's context.
Difficulties: Currently in Costa Rica a very high percentage of new buildings are done in concrete prefab panels. Therefore for many people the wooden construction proposed, might seems to be an old-fashioned building technique in the first impression.
