Creates a technological free park and open spaces for the city through the restoration of an old train station
Strengths: The project recovers and recycles the existing buildings, machinery and rails to transform them into a productive park, a public garden and a big active museum, as well as proposed new cultural buildings. The productive area will be the principal economic resource as well as a strategy for restoration of the landscape.
Difficulties: Because of a large territorial space, there are serious constraints for its construction. Currently a private enterprise operates the infrastructure inside the area and they only will be leaving the site in 10 years. This situation requires a Phase Program Strategy, facing the risk that only the first phase could be developed.
